Music by Matt Putnam, Massachusetts singer/songwriter
Vocals, guitar, harmonica
Open Mike takes place Wednesdays from 9:00 - 12:00 (sign up at 8:30) at Paddy Barry's in Quincy. Come on down and enjoy the famous Paddy's "vibe". People here love live music.
Email me with any questions, or call Paddy's at 617-770-3620.
Back once again, courtesy of the Red Line, to rip on some heavy guitar and vocals.
Jimmy just lives to play music, and his enthusiasm is contagious.
Tom said this was his first open mic, but you'd never have known it. He's a natural performer who puts his heart and soul into it and has a wide range of tunes at his disposal. He also travels with an entourage, which makes me jealous.
Jon, a Berklee student, delivered some intense originals and covers. He took the red line to Quincy Center to get here. How's that for dedication?
Chris continues on his mission from God. If you haven't heard him sing Price's "Kiss," well—you haven't heard anything.
Branson comes around every once in a while, and it's always a treat to hear his expert fingerpicking. This is one cool dude, and he always shows up with cool guitars.
Marty came back to grace us with more country blues by the likes of Reverend Gary Davis. It's all the stuff I'd play if I had the discipline. This guy can pick with the best.
First time here for Al. He did some great original songs, one of them a touching tribute to his grandson—beautiful stuff. And since I failed to get a photo of him, what's to stop me from stealing one from Al's web site?
Not only did Britney manage to shoehorn a troupe of leather-clad dancers onto Paddy Barry's stage, she proved once again to be on the cutting edge of youthful rebellion via her artful use of pelvic gyrations.
