First time here for Bob, who's an excellent singer and player with a great stage presence.
She borrowed my guitar and sang like a bird. If only I'd managed to get a picture of her! So what the heck, here's Aimee Mann.
Never a dull moment with James, a complete original. James' fingernails were painted red this evening. See what I mean?
Great to hear Justin again—he has a phenomenal voice, and, more importantly—he smiles.
Special thanks to my old pal Bob McDermott for hosting last week while I summered on the Riviera (well, Maine, actually). Early July is the slowest time of year for live music, yet these folks all came this week out to keep the the world famous Paddy's Relentless Open Mic alive and kicking.
Newcomer Sergio stopped in en route from Boston to Marshfield to give us a few tunes. My favorite: Jack Johnson's "Flake."
I love it when these guys play, and so does everyone else. They sound great together. Heck, they even look good together.
Greg keeps on coming up with more jokes as fast as we can laugh at 'em.
When Chuck's not doing one of his 5-star gigs for the beautiful people on Martha's Vineyard, he likes to slum at Paddy's.
Mike swears he'll bring in his keyboard next time. In this moodily-lit photo, Mike is seen belting it out with the venerable Bob McDermott.
While in town brokering another appearance at Campanelli Stadium, the always unpredictable Bob Dylan treated us to a set of obscure gems. Highlight: an impromptu medley of "Peggy Day" and "We Are the World." Ever the jokester, Bob later quipped, "Hey, wait a minute—I thought I told my driver to take me to Passims."
