The original Jammer comes by regularly to give Paddy's a shot of energy.
Traffic was tied up for miles around Quincy Center once word hit the street that Bob was off for the summer and ready to roll. Actually, traffic was pretty bad to begin with, but it is worth noting that Bob is back.
Brian MahoneyHats off to Brian—he's here just about every week, arriving just in time to bat cleanup. He always gives us a nice set of all types of songs.
Tom's been coming back more and more. Let's hope he gets completely hooked.
Richard's second appearance at Paddy's, and a great treat for everyone. He writes beautiful, emotional songs and puts them across in strong voice. He also does Van Morrison's "Celtic Ray," which alone is worth the price of admission.
If you're hankering to hear Scrapper Blackwell's "Trouble Blues" or Tommy Johnson's "Canned Heat", Chuck is the guy for you; a blues siinger and picker of rare distinction. I wish he could have gone on for another hour or so.
Return engagements: Chuck Whelan • Brian Mahoney
James' incredibly energetic performance of his singular original music tonight inspired me to create the very first Paddy Barry's Open Mic music video. Well, technically, it's not a music video. But you get the idea.
Brian's last open mic before leaving the great state of Massachusetts. He couldn't ship out without singing "Layla" one last time.
Return engagements: Chuck Whelan • Brian Mahoney • Bob McDermott

Every once in a blue moon Holbrook drops in to display his enviable finesse on guitar and vocals. Not only is a great singer and player, he is man shrouded in mystery—rumored to be heir to the Thurston Howell lll fortune, or possibly Indiana Jones' real father.
Joe writes and performs insane, side-splitting blues tunes in a voice as powerful as a blast furnace. Tonight's standout was his "I Can't Drink Like I Used To", complete with sing along chorus.
I guess Tom belongs in the "return engagements" category, but he really deserves Extreme Honorable Mention™ for schlepping all the way from Southie and bringing his crew with him every time. Never a dull moment with Tom.
One of the many talented locals originally from Ireland, Jude is a terrific singer with great stage presence. Everyone loves him.
Jim always puts everyone in a great mood when he's playing. He's one of the nicest guys we've ever had stop in.
