Jessi Fanuele
The word "dynamic" just isn't enough to describe Jessi. She has a powerhouse voice, plays killer guitar, and her enthusiasm is contagious. She did a lot of her own songs and covers as well. Too bad my camera was malfunctioning that night (actually, I malfunctioned—I left the damn thing home again). Now she'll have to come back! That is, if she wants to enjoy the instant worldwide fame that having your picture on this Web site guarantees.
Don Hammontree
Don came all the way from Fall River to Quincy, — no mean feat — to deliver a captivating set of his originals (check out his latest CD, Mount Hope Days), and absolutely rocked. He's another seasoned performer with the power to hold an audience. Fortunately, I have this file photo of Don playing last year in West Bridgewater. For maximum effect, pretend the background window is a B.B. King poster.
